Ok. I admit it. I am technologically-disadvantaged....
Someone, please help me become a collaborator.
I can assist with the following look-ups:

British Families in South Africa. - C Pama
The story of South Africa - L.Marquard
The 1820 settlers of South Africa - Hezekiah Sephton's party. - A.E. Makin
The Settler handbook - 1820 settlers. - M.D. Nash
From Manchester to Albany and beyond. - Settler Kirkman and descendants. - P Kirkman
In Spekboom Country. Settlers Booth and Godlonton and descendants. - F Burrington.
U.G. Hemmingson - V.O.C. dienaar en verbindingsschakel tussen China en Nederland. - M.A.P. Meilink Roelofsz
Thanks,
Helen

Hi Helen - I have sent you a request and added your list to the project - fantastic! Thank you. Just edit as necessary!

Helen,
You underestimate what good work you are doing and I continue to marvel at your energy and dedication. Never call yourself "Ignorant"

We first "met" (even though you live in a neighbouring suburb of Cape Town) through Geni.com via the Southey and Painter lines but I am continually amazed at how your influence extends into so many of the South African families.

Keep going

Regards

Hello fourth cousin five times removed's ex-husband's first cousin thrice removed. :-)
June has sent you a collaboration invite to work on the project.
I have sent you an invite to join the Welkom Cuzzins project: http://www.geni.com/projects/South-Africans-Geni-Landing-Site-WELKO... and the Welkom Cuzzins letter that tries to explain as much tecno stuff as possible: http://www.geni.com/projects/A-not-so-brief-WELKOM-SA-CUZZINS-brief...

I also sent a personal collaboration request to become my collaborator, as this may make it easier for you to work with profiles on the tree that I manage.

Hi no path cousin, my invite is underway and i will certainly tap your resources on a missing Stewart settler!

I am also eager to help - BUT I am learning ... so please let me know if you see I make mistakes ...

and if I can help search or find - I am a pretty cool researcher on the internet and living in Cape Town - I am willing to go to all resources and places in and around The Cape to confirm or find the fact.

Hi Willa - for general assistance on SA research have a look at http://www.geni.com/projects/South-African-Genealogical-Reference-C...

when you have a better idea of where you want to go let us know and we can add you to the list on the project with a more specific offer! Thank you!
