I live in one of the oldest homes in North Dighton, MA, believed to have initially belonged to a Louise Dighton Phillips (? accuracy of that name?) built circa 1690;s; and that she was related in some way to the founders of Dighton (? niece). Have been told at some point the house became the homestead of a Captain Thomas William Phillips, a local sea captain. Attempting to get any information on any of those that may have lived here.

Very cool Susan. Let me see what I can find out. Frances Deighton Williams is my 9th great grandmother. My mother is a Williams. You might also send Geni email to the descendants of Frances Deighton since a number of the Williams family live in the Taunton vicinity and know more about the local family history.
