I'm working on the Aylett family. They get into "current time" and lots of private profiles of course. It's going to be fascinating though to track them from Virginia to the Philippines.

Thanks for the quick assist, Erica Howton! Pattie Aylett's brother, Philip had a daughter who married a Filipino (they met when he studied in Columbia University). The young family moved back to Manila in the 1920s -- Philip's granddaughter Mary is one of the country's leading sociologists. One of her fields of interest is the American influences on our educational system.

It would be interesting if another family member was linked to the Philippines.

Oh, and more merges please?

Mona we may now have a "connection" to the "big tree" at Governor Patrick Henry - the "Give me Liberty, or give me Death!" guy.

All done (the other merges were easy).

There's a private profile here:

BTW my parents are retired sociologists.

Erica Howton, on Patrick Henry, soo cool! I'll send a note out to Dr. Mary Aylett Racelis. She's a professor at the Ateneo de Manila. She might get a kick out it. :)

Hi, Private User. I found your profile on Tony-Boy Cojuangco: Unknown Profile.

I am currently cleaning up the public profiles in the Cojuangco Clan, and I wanted to let you know that there is a duplicate profile for Tony Boy, under his full birth name. This is also the Master Profile: Antonio Ongsiako Cojuangco

Would you mind if I delete the erroneously attached profile? Thanks a bunch!

Hi, Private User. Apologies, it was public to start with. I unlinked the wrong relationship and merged your profile of AOC with the master profile under the correct parents.

Hi Mona & Private User

A possible merge starting from these two public profiles:

http://www.geni.com/merge/compare/6000000012672992137?to=6000000009...

hi, Private User, i will defer to you on whether Private User's recommendations are good matches or not. as we have all seen, not all public profiles are well researched, so just give me a holler which of these would be good merges to execute. :)

Hi Private User. I was cleaning my Merge Center today and found some profiles you manage that require some TLC. Essentially, the children of Vicenta Ubarco Galarrita are attached to two fathers, which you both manage. Could you look into this please? Just give me a holler if you need help with severing the links to the extra parent. :D Thanks!

Hi, Private User and Wilfredo Pacana Kaamiño, Jr.. Still cleaning my Merge Center and found that in this tree (http://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/6000000012437863661), both of you have created duplicate profiles. I've merged what I could; so what remains is are the merges between Sr's public profiles and Jr.'s private ones. :D

To merge from Tree view, click "More" > "Move this person". A box will appear on the upper right. Just click and drag the box over the duplicate profile and define that they are the same person.

Let me know if you need any help. :D
