When he graduated from law school,he was a teacher and guide for the young people of the "Third Aliyah" who came to Eretz Israel as "pioneers" to work and build. He taught them how to take over a pair of raging mules, how to plow andopen straight furrows, how to load a cart full of beams and how to carry a cart loaded on the mountain slopes without it tipping over. Together with his trainees, he engaged in clearing huge basalt stones from the fields of the valley in a plow attached to 12 (!) Pairs of partings while he supervised the craft, instructing, guiding and correcting what needed repairing. Aryeh also engaged in protection and guarding operations in the fields of Beit Gan and at the head of the youth of the colony went in pursuit of robbers who used to rob working animals. Chased, obtained and returned the loot home. When he grew up and started a family, he left the colony and joined the Nahalal cooperative moshav. He devoted himself to building his farm and not long after that his farm became one of the most beautiful and tidy in the moshav.</p>sibility for the security of life and property in the area. He fulfilled his difficult role with dedication and responsibility. On the 11th of Adar I (March 14, 1938) he died. He was laid to rest in the Nahalal cemetery. Left a wife and two children.</p>
