Absalom Parrish (a) was born on October 24, 1796 in Bulloch County, Georgia, the youngest son of Henry Parrish, Sr. and Mary Ann (Monk) Parrish. He was known as "Ab".

On October 8, 1820, he married Polly Williams. They had 3 children before she died in Nov. 1825.

On October 1, 1829, he next married Elizabeth Green (b) in Bulloch County. They had 11 children.

In 1875, Absalom Parrish, age 78, died in Bulloch County, Georgia.

Footnotes: (a) Some reference his first name sometimes spelled as Absolom. The last name is inscribed as "Parish" on his gravestone. (b) Also, references spell her last name as "Greene".
