These records document the move of Ansel Parrish from Goochland Co VA to Granville Co NC,Ansel Parrish's brothers had moved to Granville Co NC 10 years prior.

It has been brought to my attention that he may have been born in 1789.

Next to Nancy Holloway Parrish (his wife). He married Nancy on March 3, 1814. They had 14 children. He was a large slave holder.

Members of the family informed that Ansel Parrish is buried beside his wife. There are also children buried there and 18 slaves. These originally had wooden markers but they were burned.

Ansel Parrish was a son of Revolutionary War soldier, Henry Parrish.
