A pink silk wrapper and the number of co respondents named, one of them a Chicagoan, are the most striking features of the divorce suit pending between Rupert Hughes, playwright, author, sculptor, poet, and artist in general, and his wife, Agnes Hedge Hughes, who was Miss Agnes Wheeler Hedge of Syracuse Hughes once wrote a play entitled "What People Say?" He and his wife are pondering what the Jury will say. ... Mrs. Hughes began suit for divorce, alleging cruelty. Hughes replied with a countersult for a divorce, which was on trial before Supreme Court Justice Clarke and a jury today. R. Hughes named eight men as co respondents: William Herbert Reynolds, Captain Henry R. Lemley, Crowell Campbell, Arthus Conover, Max Krager, Robert J. Grant, James C. Heche, and J. Marmaduke Robinson. Krager is a Chicago musician.
