Death

A date and place of death has not been identified for Alexander Boyd of Kilmarnock. He was alive on 26 June 1508, when Queen Margaret set the lands of Kilmarnock and others to him in tack for nine years,NRS: GD8/29 but he died before 1510, when Queen Margaret acknowledged that his son Robert Boyd had paid the mails of Kilmarnock to Mr. Francis Bothwell, burgess of Edinburgh.
