He lived in Hurstville. The children's school was in Forest Road, Hurstville. Vera was able to walk home from school. They moved to Woniora Road for a few months before moving to Griffith.
Furniture was retained and put into a temporary brick residence in Kings Grove Road, Hurstville, and later consigned to Willbriggie and brought out to the farm by lorry and horses. See Vera Chettle's book page 13.
