in the book, Pioneer Popes a history of the Plymouth Popes who descended from one Thomas Pope of Plymouth and Dartsmouth, Massachusetts, became pioneers in Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Nebraska, 1627 to 1937 by Amelia Pope Sutherland, Published 1938 by Pope Family Association in Waupaca, Wisconsin, there is an error listed for Isaac Pope's wife: Alice Mind (listed therein) should be Alice Freeman.[1] Another source lists her as Alice Mind as well.[2]

Biography

Alice Freeman was born to Edmond and Margaret (Perry) Freeman Apr 29, 1658. She married Isaac Pope about 1686/ by 1687.[3][4]
