I collaborate with the members of Lithuanian Heritage Project (LHP), a team of genealogy volunteers who enter profiles and supporting documentation from North American communities with Lithuanian-born residents, by adding 'proper' Lithuanian names and facilitating connections back to ancestor trees built in Lithuania. One important reason that LHP, while not officially affiliated with Geni, has chosen the Geni platform is because of the flexibility of entering multiple name variations in many languages which is so critical to helping people find their relatives when name changes have occurred.

In January 2022, I launched a genealogy newsletter focusing on Lithuanian research topics. The primary purpose of the newsletter is to share information, techniques, strategies and ideas that assist researchers of Lithuanian genealogy. Occasionally other general genealogy information is included as well, but the main focus is on items that promote success in Lithuanian research. I am also an avid researcher of Indiana genealogy, with a concentration on Knox County. I am the County Coordinator for the Knox County portion of The INGenWeb Project, part of The USGenWeb Project.

My current personal research concentration is on Lithuanian ancestors from the Marcinkonys and Merkinė parishes. I have transcribed over 20,000 church records into my personal database and added data to Geni where the surnames are part of my extended family tree.

The family tree I maintain on Ancestry has the most complete data and documentation about people who were born and lived in the US, while the family tree I have on Geni is most thorough regarding those relatives who did not emigrate from Europe.

I use genetic genealogy to augment my traditional paper-based genealogical research. I have uploaded my family's DNA results to many of the major websites (Ancestry, 23andMe, MyHeritage, Family Tree DNA, GEDmatch, Living DNA, Geneanet and Geni). I actively analyze our matches and have identified several hundred matches and exactly how they fit into our family tree.
