Anne was recorded being born August 1, 1605 in Bures St. Mary County Essex, England. Anna died Dec 5, 1691 in Marlborough. Thus it makes sence that he married the second time in England as well.

Richard is said to have died at Marlborough Mass, August 24, 1701? "aged about a hundred".

She was a seeker of freedom from religious persecution. At various times she spelled her name Ana, Anna, Hannah and Anne. Anne and her siblings as well as her widowed mother probably arrived in America around 1638 and they settled in Sudbury, Massachusetts where she eventually married Richard Newton. (wab)
