Anna Rachellina Yeats

Anna and Freda were twin sisters. Both were born on 07/07/1883. The witness to Anna Baptism are : George Petrus Johannes Koning, and Anna Rachellina Koning ( Verwey ), her Aunt........ Anna on frame 459/545 of the registers. Freda never got married., There dad, Johan George, lived with them until his passing. According to the newspaper cutting, he had 12 daughters, and 3 sons, of whom 8 daughters, and 2 sons, survive him. At the time of his passing his eldest daughter was Kate Channan aged 75. According to the registers in the records of Baptisms of the Nederduitse Gereformeerde Kerk, Cape Town, Anna was baptised 1st on frame 141, and Frederika 2nd on frame 142, on the record of N.G. Kerk Baptisms 1883 - 1884. Most Johannes's and Anna's children were born in Papendorp, now better known as Woodstock.

Annie Rachel Stadler marries James Murray Yeats with a Special License at Cape Town 25 November 1911. Their abode Scott road Observatory, Cape Town at this time. Both children: Kenneth & Thelma are baptized at St. Anne's.
