Aaron Spitz was born in Mikulov in 1776 and is listed in the birth index as being the son of Lobl (Aryeh Leib?) and Maria (Miryam) See index at http://collections.jewishmuseum.cz/index.php/Detail/Object/Show/obj...

He was appointed as rabbi on the Bais Din of Nikolsburg/Mikulov and then moved to Prostejov/Prossnitz in 1800, then became rabbi in Trencin about 1810 and then from 1812 until his death was rabbi in Holic.
