Burrell Hancock, 77, of Galax, died In a Galax hospital Thursday, Oct. 20, 1966. Surviving are seven sons, Garnett Hancock and Charlie Hancock, Bassett Lonnle Hancock, Pulaski Carl Hancock, Carlle Hancock and Elmer Hancock, Galax, and Kenny Hancock, Fries, and two brothers, Eldrtdge Hancock, Christiansburg, and Elmer Hancock, Windsor, Md.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday In Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Chapel, held by the Rev. Posey J. Wright and the Rev. Billy Pace, with burial in the Quaker Cemetery, near Galax.
