Carmelo Ponte

Carmelo Ponte was born on August 7, 1887 in Palagonia, Catania, Sicily.

In 1916 he married his wife Grazia Ponte in Manhattan.

His World War I Draft Registration card states that he was living on Monroe Street in New York City with his wife. He was employed as a freight handler. He stated he had served in the military in Italy.

In April 1940, according to the US Federal Census he was living at 66 Rutger Street in New York City with his wife and daughter Flora
