Catherine Rumble

MY Mum was born on the 6th of November 1946 in Brighton England, she emigrated to Australia when she was 3 with her parents Cyril & Hilda Hadley & her brother Laurie (dads sister Lynne's husband) & her sister Caryll. they arrived on the ship the georgic, mum married my dad when she was 16, they had 4 kids, Judy-ann, David ( known as george), myself & Stephanie.

 mum wasnt very well she battled diabetes, had numerous  back , neck knee operations, her knee replacements never seemed to take & in the end the doctors  took her knee right out & gave her a straight leg, she wasnt able to walk very far so spent most of the time sitting on the lounge, sleeping, My sister steph was her carer, mum had 1 grandchild even though she had 14 of them, my daughter Renee was her favourite thats why we say she only had 1 grandchild everyone knew & just put up with it cause thats how she was , she did say it was only because she looked after Renee when she was a baby & really sick & they ended up with a close bond

mum passed away on the 6th of august 2006, my sister steph woke up & found her on the lounge
