Although there is no direct evidence, there seems no doubt that the three people named Christina Bastiaansz, the child of Frans Bastiaansz and his wife Anna Maria Pietersz de Leeuw, who was baptised on 10 August 1687 in the Cape Town church, she who married Heinrich Gozelke/Gossel/Horsel circa 1702 and she who married Hendrik Janse Myntie on the 14th January 1709 at Stellenbosch were one and the same person,

The baptismal witnesses of her children suggest this connection very strongly, including her father and mother at the baptism of her first two children in 1704 and 1706, her brothers and sisters, as well as Anna Maria de Leeuw and Guddert Jansz , her mother and stepfather, at the baptism of the child Johannes Meijntes on the 23rd July 1719.

Christina Bastiaans was baptized on 10 August 1687 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop. The baptism was witnessed by Jan van Brienen and Catarina Klaesen.

She married Hendrik Meijntjes van den Berg on 14 January 1709 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Stellenbosch, de Caep de Goede Hoop

9 April 1702, the name of Christina Bastiaans was written in the record as Christina Bastiaanz.

She and Heinrich Goszelke witnessed the baptism of Anna Lisebet Bastiaanz on 9 April 1702 Stellenbosch.

She and Hendrik Meijntjes van den Berg witnessed the baptism of Anna Catharina Robbers on 1 April 1731 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Drakenstein, de Caep de Goede Hoop.
