Alexander Mackey died sometime between 23 Feb 1793 and 21 Mar 1796, for on that latter date, several of his heirs made a deed transferring the 50 acres he bequeathed to Anna Willis to her son instead (with her consent). The deed was from David Mackey and William Mackey and Thomas Wharey, all of Rutherford County, as Executors of Alexander Mackey, sold Joel Terrell 50 acres on Main Broad River, granted to Alexander Mackey on 28 Oct 1782, willed to Anna Willis, and transferred to her son Joel.
