Rev. Daniel Stover, b in Franklin co, Pa, in 1757 ; d in 1822 ; m Barbara Benedict, of Quincy, Pa. They lived and died on the old Stover home-stead, near Waynesboro, Pa. He was a minister of the German Baptist Church, and after the death of his father succeeded him as bishop.

Parents: son of Bishop Johann Wilhelm Stover (b: 1725 ) and Eva Elizabetha Suss (b: 1733 in Graben, Karlsruhe, Germany)

  1. 1786 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania to Barbara Benedict. She born on 26 May 1765 in Quincy, Pennsylvania and died in 1822 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. She is buried in Ft. Stover, Waynecastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John Peter Benedict [Benedick] (1731-1797) and Maria Elizabetha Laubscher [Laukster] [1]
