SMILEY, Eleanor Lewit, 88 years old, passed away on May 25, 2016 from the long term effects of Alzheimer's and a more recent stroke. Devoted wife of Jerome. Beloved and loving mother of Gail Smiley Heppen, and Wendy Smiley, Amy Smiley, and Tammy Smiley. Cherished grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. May she find the peace that a deserving soul is entitled to find. Services Sunday May 29, 2016 at 11:00am at the Reconstructionist Synagogue of the North Shore, 1001 Plandome Road Plandome, NY.
