Notes

As regards to the Elizabeth Dragoo connection to the Knott Co. Hays family as written by Henry Scalf - it has been proven to be incorrect.
Elizabeth Dragoo was married to James Hay(E)s. James was born Oct. 15, 1772 Winchester, Fredrick Co. Va. died June 8 1860 in Jacksonburg, Wetzel Co. Va (now WVa.) Their children were Levi, Sarah, Elizabeth, Gilley Ann, Sussanah, Edmond, John Evans, Malinda, and James. All of these children are well documented and none of the have migrated into Knott/Floyd Co. Ky. Their migrations were into Ohio, Missouri, and other areas.
