Esther married Richard Bowen, Jr. on March 4, 1646 in Rehoboth, Plymouth Colony.

Together they had the following children: Christopher Bowen; William Bowen; Thomas Bowen; Obediah Bowen; Richard Bowen; John Bowen; Hester (Bowen) Millard.

She died on November 6, 1688 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Dominion of New England and was buried in Newman Cemetery, East Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island, United States.
