Frik (78), a poet and farmer, was found murdered on his farm Alma in Limpopo, by Fanie Stander (68) on Tuesday 2nd February 2011 at 11h00.

Frik had been dead for a few days. Fanie said, "I went to the back door to visit Frik when I smelled a stench, something like a dead animal." He saw Frik tied up lying on the floor.
