George Hofer was a Filipino physician and politician. He served as mayor of Titay, Zamboanga del Sur (now part of Zamboanga Sibugay) from June 30, 1992 to June 30, 1998. He later represented the third district of Zamboanga del Sur at the House of Representatives of the Philippines from June 30, 1998 to June 30, 2001. Lastly, he served as the first Governor of Zamboanga Sibugay from June 30, 2001 to June 30, 2010.
