About Glynn Rupert Hitzeroth

It's unknown why Glynn Rupert Hitzeroth chose to travel to Melbourne in order to enlist with the Australian Imperial Force on 5 Nov. 1915.

Glynn "worked as a Station Foreman and Telegraphist before the war started" according to his widow, Margaret May Bruss.

Glynn was a Private in the regimental unit 7th Battalion, 15th Reinforcement; Glynn was killed in action in France on 19 July 1916, having served in Egypt and on the Western Front.
