Haman Miller Sr. moved to Randolph County in, or around the 1750's . He came here from Halifax County , VA . He had overall, about 3,065 acres of land, in the Jackson and Tom's Creek area of Randolph County , NC . He was a small time lawyer, and also the Capt of Jackson Creek . People would pay their taxes to him. He was a rich man for his time . He is in the Old Miller grave yard in Jackson Creek , NC. His best friend was Andrew Hoover . He also had the first Mill in the Jackson Creek area which he sold to the Parker family. .R.I.P. Haman Miller sr . You are the one out of this family that started the road for all your family.
