About Hannah Ann Mason

Ann Combs (Mason) was the mother of Joseph Combs, Sr., b. 1688, d. 1756. She would have been too young to have given birth to Joseph Combs, if she was born in 1680. Some records show that she was born in 1673, which would have been possible, although she would have been 15 years old at the birth.

Some say that Ann Mason and Hannah Tutt were two different wives. Some say they were one and the same. What is confusing is how some say they were two different women and yet Hannah Tutt named her son Mason.

Let's post some evidence surrounding the wife/wives of John Combs to discover what is verifiable and adjust the tree according to what can be supported.
