James Pease married Hannah Dunham (daughter of Johathan and Mary Cobb Dunham) in Edgartown in 1686.[1]

Jonathan and Mary were married Oct 15, 1657 in Edgartown. Jonathan Dunham came to Plymouth with his parents in 1633. He was a missionary among the sea coast Indians from Saco, ME to Cape Cod. In 1655, he was living in Plymouth, 1670 in Eastham, was a constable in Middleboro, MA in 1673, and deputy to the General Court for Middleboro. After moving to Edgartown, he was ordained by Elder Gibson, and was pastor of the church in Edgartown. James Pease was a yeoman.
