Harriet Hardy Nye

Harriet Hardy Willard, dau. of Levi Willard and Irene Knight, was born in Dublin, New Hampshire (now Harrisville) on Sept. 29, 1840. She married on May. 1, 1867 with LUCIUS EDWARD NIMS, son of Henry Nims and Anna Phillips. He was born in Sullivan, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire on Oct. 26, 1832. He was a farmer and settled on the homestead in Roxbury, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire where he died on Aug. 9, 1871. She died 1927.

Child: Leon Austin (3/2/1868; m. Alice Collins).

After his death, she married 2nd with CHARLES HARVEY NYE, on Jan. 1, 1876. He was born in Keene, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire on June 14, 1837; died there Aug. 10, 1912. He was son of Apollos Nye and Adaline "Lucy" Kingsbury. He, his first wife, and Harriet all buried at Woodland Cemetery, Keene, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire.
