About Isaac "Isack" Hanson, Son of John

3/10/2021 edit Frequently confused with 2nd cousin, Isaac Hanson who was also born in 1714 and died 3 days AFTER on 15 Jan 1758. Isaac Hanson, son of John and Elizabeth, was called "Isaac Junior" because he was younger than his cousin Isaac Hanson, son of Tobias and Ann.

This following text was not changed 3/20/2021 and may or may not conflate the 2 cousins.

-------------------------------------------------

(4) Isaac Hanson, born 25 December 1714; died 15 January 1758; married 31 December 1740 in Dover, N. H., Susanna Canney, born 4 February 1715 and died 9 August or 9 September 1760. (From the notes of Mr. Harry Stam, Mr. D. G. Hanson, Mr. Ralph Perkins.)

Isaac and Susanna Canney Hanson were Quakers. They had a number of children who gradually had left the Friends and as most of them had married out, the Meeting concluded to disown them by the Minutes in 1787. (Records of the Dover Monthly Meeting of Friends)

(The following notes have been collected to date (?) from sources as indicated. Some discrepancies and contradictions are apparent which future research may or may not correct, but they are presented as found.)[Notes are to be found under succeeding generations.]

Many genealogies show Isaac as being son and grandson of the two Tobiases, but still great grandson of Thomas Hanson and Mary Paul.
