Isaac Duke Parker, son of Isaac Parker and Lucy W. Cheatham, was born Oct. 23, 1821 in Illinois. He married with SARAH LUCY HUNTSMAN on Dec. 28, 1845 in Madison, Tennessee.. She was born Apr. 29, 1827 in Madison, Tenn and died Dec. 30, 1863 in Tarrant Co., Texas. Buried at Parker Cemetery, Hurst, Tarrant Co., Texas. (headstone of I.D. Parker includes info on wife Sarah L. and his mother Lucy W. Parker). He married 2nd with MARY PRISCILLA HOLT. She was born 1848 and died 1908. He died in Tarrant County, Texas and is buried at Parker Cemetery, Hurst, Tarrant Co., Texas with his brother Wiliam.

Children were (by Sarah): Sam H. (1848-1888), Charles (1851-1875), Ann Obediance (1854-1864), Isaac Huntsman (1856-1860), James (1859-1877) and Lemuel (1862-1867).

Children by Mary: Lucy (1867-1869), Jodie (1869-1953; m. Thomas), Robert Lee (1871-1942), Hesly (1875-1876), and Duke (1877-1955).

Isaac served as County Commissioner in Tarrant Co., and was a member of the Texas Legislature. A Confederate veteran.
