Little is known about Jacinto Villanueva except when he was married to Asunción Arámbulo who was 8 years older. On December 23, 1970, he was rushed to Martinez Memorial Hospital. He died there two days later due to heart failure. He was buried at Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina, Rizal (present-day Metro Manila) on December 27, 1970. According to his death certificate, he was born in 1911. However according to his marriage record and his son Edgardo’s birth record, he was born in 1904. He was too young to marry Asunción Arámbulo. Therefore, August 16, 1904 is accepted as his date of birth.
