Jacob Sargent, 1st child of Trueworthy Sargent and Hopestill Weed, was b. Sept 11,1751; m. first, Mary Pattee, b. 1751; she d. July 10,1817; second, Betsey Bryant. He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War and at one time res. in Goffstown, NH.; he d. May 19,1832, at Thornton NH. Had 9 children by Mary Pattee.
