Jane Budd was baptized on 24 June 1633 at the Church of Saint Pancras in Chichester, Sussex, England (50.836536, -0.773536), a daughter of John Budd and Katherine Butcher.
Wife of Joseph Horton. She was also referred to as "Joan" or "Jean".
Jacqueline Dinan, in her book In Search of Barnabas Horton, lists the following children for Joseph Horton and Jane Budd:
- John, born ca. 1648 and died before 4 August 1707; married Rachel Hoit
- Joseph, born ca. 1648-1650; his death date is unknown
- Samuel, born ca, 1652-1656
- David, born ca. 1654-1660 and died after 1733
- Benjamin, first appeared in Westchester County records in January 1699/1700 (Note: The Benjamin Horton, jr. who married Anne Budd in the late 1680's does not appear on the 1698 Southold Census. They may have moved to Rye.)
- Hannah, married (1) Thomas Robinson and (2) Miles Oakley.
Mrs. Jane (Budd) Horton died at an unknown date after 13 June 1696.
