In 'Aided Immigration From Britain to South Africa 1857-1867', by Esme Bull,Human Sciences Research Council, Pretoria, 1991)

(John seems likely to be my grandfather, John Doig Anderson - as his birthdate is 1851; and he married a Hulley girl. One of the Dugmore daughters married a Hulley as well. Also the name Isabella is carried down John’s line. [Sharon Doubell 2014]) (Janet's place of birth - Scotland and death - SA is surmised from the info I have for my gr grandfather John.)
