Jeremiah Folsom

I have observed that Harry Folsom has given as children of Jeremiah Folsom the following: Capt. Ben. Folsom (1730?-1777), Lawrence, Jeremiah and William. He has given this line as: Jeremiah4, Israel3, Samuel2, John1.

Harry Folsom has has also written, "The more likely father of the Israel who married Mary (Marie) Chambers and fathered the boys who married into the Choctaw Nation was Jeremiah (Israel, Samuel, John)."

A bit of good news. Jeremiah Folsom, son of Israel and Rachel did indeed exist.. However our research indicates that he was the oldest son and likely born in 1714 or 1715. We have been unable to find any information on Jeremiah's wife though there has been a good deal of speculation that she may have been a Cherokee woman. One of Jeremiah's sons, Benjamin Folsom was married to an Easter (last name unknown)
