Civil War Veteran LAMPMAN, JOHN C.—Age 23 years. Enlisted, October 21, 1861, at Hermanville, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. E, 81st Infantry, October 24, 1861; promoted sergeant; transferred to Co.. H, February 6, 1862; discharged for disability, March 6, 1863, at New York City. John was a flag holder for the Grand Army of the Republic.
