Biography

John was born on 22 April 1642 in Braintree, Massachusetts. He was the son of William Savil (abt.1604-1669) and Hannah (Tidd) Savil (1629-1650).[1]

John was also a joiner, as his father was, in Braintree, Massachusetts, United States.[2]

John married Mehitable (Hand) Chapin (1652-) on 20 August 1668 in Braintree, Massachusetts.[3][4][5] [6]

John wrote his will on 2 November 1687, in Braintree.[7]

..I impower my executrix to make sale of my part of the ketch of which Mr Samuel Veasy is master
..I give the improve of my whole estate to my dear wife Mehetabell for her comfortable maintenance and the bringing up of my children until my children come to age
...my only son John..
...my daughter Mehetabell..
John Savil Joyner, died 19: 9: 1687. (Nov. 19, 1687)[8]

The will reached probate on 2 February 1691, and by then his widow had married Thomas Medcalf.
