About Karl Phillip Wassmer
Karl's health wasn't too good and he was always the black sheep of the family. He got married real young to a girl who already had a child. They had a child and they lived in poverty the rest of theirs lives. He had not even finished junior high. He went to work at 12 or 13 as a laborer (drove a truck) and made just enough to get by as he did the rest of his life. The family generally is close especially when someone is sick, but he never liked that. The family only saw him a few times until he was sick and about to die and then they tried to rally. He always seemed uncomfortable around family. Perhaps it was because of the little boy he had had. He remarried and his wife didn't want the boy and so he gave him away. Maybe he always felt uncomfortable with that.
Born with one kidney, not know what he died from but perhaps kidney problems.
Had a son Phillip Heath who fixed sewing machines for the lds church
Wife was also Ruth Timmons who later married Ed Potts who Aunt Eva also married
