About Theodore Milton Wassmer
Ted was a born artist and a responsible man. He took care of his fathers family as best he could and always was the patriarch keeping in contact with all his great nieces and nephews. He was generous and help many in times of need of for causes he loved like donating art or paying for education.
During the Depression he worked at the hardware store and made $14 a week. He lived in a 'penthouse' but still helped support the family. Everyone who was anyone was a guest there at many parties. He got a piano for his penthouse. He never had a lesson but he could pick out a tune once he heard it.
He never learned to read music but if he heard a tune he could play it.
After Judy died he had no stress but lived his life doing his own thing. He died of respiratory issues and old age. A couple of years before his death he recieved a letter from President Gordon B. Hinckley wishing him happy birthday from someone of his generation. And stating that there were not many left! Theodore had wished to date Gordons wife when she was single
