Entered military service around SEK 1602 and worked his way up from commoner to master of horse at the Västgöta Cavalry Regiment; also district chief in Laske district 1624-10-22, which he was still in 1627; major in said reg 1633; knighted 1633-10-20 (introduced in 1633 under no. 184); lieutenant colonel in the same reg in 1633; castle captain at Älvsborg 1634-10-30; resignation 21-08-1640; master of the horse at the nobility's armor service in Östergötland, Södermanland, Närke and Värmland 1640-10-01. Buried in Kvänum's old, now demolished church. "He was ennobled by King Gustaf II Adolf in the camp at Ribnitz in Mecklenburg, however, without any noble name being added to him in any other way than that the coat of arms painted on the original noble letter is signed Larz Larzon Silberschwerdt." Knighted in 1630, introduced into the House of Knights in 1633 Gunnar Torstensson Ram (engjäl Torstensdotter Rahm gm per nilsson B ca 1510) owned the farm Eskilsäter - Byn in Säffle Värmland during 1590 -the number. The farm passed into daughter Elsa's ownership around 1600. In 1645, the farm was taken over by master horseman Lars Larsson Silfversvärd and his wife, who became the sole owner in 1645. Around 1656, the ownership passed to Major Lennart Silfversvärd and in 1676 passed to Lieutenant Johan Silfversvärd. Lies with her two husbands and stepson Olof buried in Kvänum according to the inscription on their epitaph there." According to Palmsköld's genealogical collections, Katarina Svenske would have had three sons with Silfverswärd, but in the Svenske family's inheritance and remuneration liquidation at the end of the 17th century, the children are included Margareta, Lars and Agneta, such as her children who share in the inheritance. She was pardoned on 20/3/1648 with three homesteads in Vånga and Kvänum in the aforementioned parish (Vg)."

  • 1. Anders'. Ensign in Västmanland's regiment in 1637. Died 1638-02-15 in Stralsund of the plague.
  • 1. Ragnilda, lived 1669-04-01, but was dead 1671-07-03. Married 1st to Lars Pilegren, no. 396, died before 1659. Married 2nd before 1662 to the captain Carl Carlsson Svinhufvud in Västergötland, no. 199.
  • 2. Margareta, died around 1682. Married 1st to her stepbrother, the driver Lars Svärdsköld, no. 334, died 1656. Married 2nd before 1660 to her sister's brother-in-law lieutenant Göran Dreffensköld, no. 369 , died 1672.
  • 2. Agneta, died 1715-03-00 at Stigen in Färgelanda parish, Älvsborg county and buried s. å. 1/4. Married to the captain Carl Didron, natural. Didron, No. 440, born 1630, died 1685.
  • 2. Lars the youngest'. Cavalry captain. Died 1676.
  • 2. Maria, died in 1691 and was buried on 4/7 in Gothenburg. Married before 1665 to the master horseman Björn Dreffensköld, no. 369, died in 1684.
