Theobald I was married three times; to Ermesinde (Isabella) of Bar-sur-Seine, Adelheid von Loos (Looz) & Ermesinde (Ermesinda) de Namur and was succeeded as count by his eldest son Henry II, by his first marriage. His eldest daughter Agnes, by his second marriage, married Frederick II, Duke of Lorraine.
