Inquisition Post Mortem for John Wibbury, Writ. 18 February 1423. He died on 7 February last [1423]. Lena his wife is pregnant with their child and if God gives his grace for it to be born, it will be John’s next heir.

Inquisition Post Mortem for John Wibbury, Writ 2 June 1439. Lena gave birth to a daughter by John, called Joan, who was 16 years and more on the feast of St Laurence last. Lena remarried after the death of John. She took as her husband Thomas Bonvyle, esquire, still living, on 6 May 1425.

Property: The manors of Tamerton' Folyet and Warlegh' and 20 messuages, 3 acres of land and 40 acres of meadow in Tamerton' Folyet and Warlegh' in the county of Devon and the manor of Shapton' in the county of Dorset.
Action: Plea of covenant.
Agreement: Thomas and Leva have acknowledged the manors and tenements to be the right of Robert, as those which Robert and Simon have of their gift, and have remised and quitclaimed them from themselves and the heirs of Leva to Robert and Simon and the heirs of Robert for ever.
Warranty: Warranty.
For this: Robert and Simon have granted to Thomas and Leva the manors and tenements and have rendered them to them in the court, to hold to Thomas and Leva and the heirs of the body of Leva, of the chief lords for ever. In default of such heirs, successive remainders (1) to the heirs of the body of Thomas, (2) to James Sampson' and the male heirs of his body, (3) to Roger Champernon' and the male heirs of his body and (4) to the right heirs of Thomas.
