LEWIS FRANK PEAK (1872-1921) was the son of Lewis McCall Peak and wife ELEANOR GENEVIEVE FOSDICK MCCALL CASSEBEER, who was a TITANIC boat survivor, April 15, 1912.
It appears that Lewis was seeking a Seaman's certificate and could have been a sailor in the Navy during WWI, as on 9/11/1918 (during World War I), He is listed as being on the Training Ship Iris S.S. Baladan, age 25ys, 5 8 1/2" inches, 130 lbs, complexion fair and hair (light) brown.
Lewis Frank Peak may have been buried in one of nine national cemeteries in Florida. It is also possible that Lewis may have been buried in New York state near his mother. Though his mother's cemetery plot is not publicly known, to avoid publicity.
In the 1940 census of New Milford, Bergen Co., New Jersey, we find: Louis (Lewis) F. Peak; Jessie (Patterson) Peak and daughter Jeanie Peak born September 12, 1933 in NY., NY. Lewis is a high school grad and Jessie had two years of high school.
Lewis F. was born in Michigan; Jessie was born in Scotland and Jeanie was born in New York City. Lewis is still working as a Rail Road Clerk in 1940.
At the time of his death in 1968 Lewis Frank Peak was receiving his railroad pension from Florida.
