DIXON WOMAN DIED IN CHICAGO SUNDAY
Mrs. Fred Humphreys Passed Away At The Home Of Her Mother There
Mrs. Fred Humphreys [Humphries] of 115 Crawford avenue, this city, passed away at 7 o'clock Sunday [July 12] at the home of her mother, Mrs. James Kane of Vincennes avenue, Chicago, after a short illness. The remains of the beloved Dixon lady, who has hosts of friends here who will mourn her death, arrived in Dixon today, and funeral services will be held at her home at 9:30 o'clock, and at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's Catholic church, Father Foley officiating. Burial will be beside her husband and son at Oakwood cemetery.
Mrs. Humphreys [Humphries] was an estimable woman in every respect and her happy and charming characteristics and manners resulted in her winning the love of all who knew her. She is survived by her mother, three sisters and five brothers: Mrs. Wm. Hanna [Hannan] and Miss Nellie Kane of Chicago; Mrs. Agnes O'Dell [Odell] of Dixon; Charles, Herbert and John Kane of Chicago and Edward Kane of Los Angeles, Cal.
