About Lydia M Nolt
Lydia M. Nolt, 61, of 284 Rancks Church Road, New Holland, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital, after a short illness.
Born in East Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Daniel B. and Lizzie (Martin) Nolt. She worked most of her life as a domestic housekeeper.
She was a member of Weaverland Old Order Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.
Surviving are eight sisters, Frances M. Martin and Hettie M., married to Charles Sagner both of New Holland, Lena M. Hoover of Denver, Jennie M. Nolt of Blue Ball, Susan M. Zimmerman of Roaring Springs, Rebecca M. Nolt of Lancaster, Ida M., married to Noah Martin of Newville, and Edna M. Nolt, with whom she resided; five brothers, John M., married to Barbara (Sensenig) Nolt and Menno M., married to Mabel (Burkholder) Nolt both of New Holland, Isaac M., married to Rebecca (Hoover) Nolt of Latham, MO, Elam M., married to Sarah (Zimmerman) Nolt of East Earl, and Luke M., married to Alma (Burkholder) Nolt of Ephrata; 112 nieces and nephews; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are three brothers, Henry, Ammon, and Weaver Nolt.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 11 at 8:45 a.m. at the home of Menno Nolt, 282 Rancks Church Road, New Holland, with further services at 9:30 a.m. at Weaverland Mennonite Church with the Bishop Ben F. Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the home of Menno Nolt on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
