About Manuel Tinio

Manuel Bundoc Tinio was the youngest General of the Philippine Revolutionary Army and in 1907, elected Governor of the Province of Nueva Ecija. Aside from being an haciendero with significant land holdings, he owned the company that provided electricity to Cabanatuan, the Marilao Mineral Water Company, and a cattle ranch in Pantabangan. He was among those who established the first Masonic Lodge in Nueva Ecija at Cabanatuan City, which is now named after him. More here: http://bit.ly/xw0zQ6.

General Manuel Tinio and Colonel Casimiro "Kapitan Berong" Tinio of Nueva Ecija,  led the Tinio Brigade that campaigned in the Ilocos provinces against the Americans and the Spaniards during the Philippine Revolution.
