Mary Dudley

Mary Byley, daughter of Henry Blyley & Elizabeth Reade, emigrated with her brothers Henry & John on the Bevis, 1638, at age 22. She died between about 1647 and 1650, probably at Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.

1633 will of grandfather Henry Byley gives Mary £10, and a silver beaker. [ref 41:277]

7. Mary DUDLEY. Born 6 JAN 1648-1649 at Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. She married Samuel HARDY on 24 JAN 1675-1675. She died in 1713 in Massachusetts.
8. Thomas Dudley. Born about 1651 at Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. He died in 1713.

Mary Byley Dudley Memorial

She immigrated in 1638 to Boston (at the age of 22) on the ship Bevis. Married Rev. Samuel Dudley 1643. She was most likely the sister of Henry Byley of Sarum, England and Salisbury. Their children were: Theophilus, 1644-1713, Byley, 1647-1728,and Mary, 1649-1713.

Mary Byley was born abt. 1615 in England. She immigrated in 1638 to Boston (at the age of 22) on the ship Bevis.[1][2]

Mary "Biley", sister of Henry Biley / Byley who obtained a patent and grant at Salisbury, MA, was second wife of Samuel Dudley. [3]

Mary Byley is named as having married about 1644 to widower Samuel Dudley, and that she was sister of Henry Byley. And that they had a son given name Byley who married Elizabeth ______, that Elizabeth is named in Byley's will (WP 6:444) [4]
