They went to New Zealand John Clarke (1829-1902) m. Mary Ayton (1838-76), 4 sons 3 dau. Caroline b. 1831 m. Henry Ricahrds and lived in London. Alfred, b. 1831, m. Elizabeth (1838-1909), daughter of Henry Lovemore (q.v.). He had five children: Gordon, Graham, Alfred, Ella, and Rosalie.
